We ensure that Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) are placed appropriately with a minimum risk and are signposted/referred to access specialist services where required.
We also ensure that young people who have limited English communication skills, or who experience verbal communication difficulties (e.g. required to use British Sign Language) will be provided with appropriate mechanisms to enable their full participation in support sessions.
